In collaboration with stakeholders across the entire value chain, our company builds the infrastructure needed to establish green hydrogen as a future core energy source, evolving the European energy system to become more sustainable and resilient.

We enable green hydrogen at scale as a core pillar in the European energy transition. We harness hydrogen where it can have the greatest impact today: decarbonising energy intensive industries, storing surplus renewable energy, and enhancing heavy-duty transport with longer ranges, quicker refuelling times, and greater operational flexibility.

Committed to sustainability, Trafigura is investing in low-carbon hydrogen, solar, wind, and battery storage technologies. With a goal of developing 3GW of low-carbon hydrogen capacity by 2030, Trafigura is driving the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, supporting global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and meet climate goals.
