Facility to produce green hydrogen, oxygen, and heat on the site of the EWL sewage treatment plant – Four partners involved.
We are delighted to announce that the collaborative “Projekt am Hölzel” in Landau, where H2 Energy Europe is proudly partnering with Energie Südwest AG (ESW), APL, and EWL, has been selected as a finalist for significant funding by the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The electrolyser is planned, built, and operated by Landauer Energie Südwest AG (ESW), in cooperation with H2 Energy Europe. The green hydrogen from the plant is to be used partly by the project partner APL, which is testing systems for fuel cells in the Landau industrial park. Another part of the hydrogen will be distributed by H2 Energy Europe through filling stations for heavy-duty transportation. The waste heat from the electrolysis process is fed by ESW into a local heating network in the industrial park.
